KATHERINE M. HOYT
Katherine was born and raised in Opelika, Alabama. She attended Auburn University for her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology. After graduating Auburn University, Katherine went work in the Juvenile Court system in Anne Arundel County, Maryland and in other criminal justice positions. Katherine went on to attend the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University. She graduated with both her J.D. and a Master of Laws degree in Trial Advocacy and Alternative Dispute Resolution and is licensed to practice law in the state of Alabama.
After graduation from law school, Katherine worked as an associate attorney with a domestic relations firm in Montgomery, Alabama prior to joining our firm. Katherine maintains offices in both Columbus and Phenix City. Her practice includes real estate law, business law and transactions, corporate law, general civil litigation, collections and creditor’s rights, labor and employment law, wills, trusts and administration of estates, and family law, including divorce, custody, paternity, and adoption.
